Vero Beach

We slept until after 9 and decided to go out for breakfast and try to pick up a few things we needed at the hardware store. We caught the bus shortly after 10 and stopped at The Lemon Tree Restaurant for breakfast. Dwayne had a wonderful ham, swiss cheese, spinach and mushroom omelet with fries and orange juice. Carla had pancakes which were more than she could handle. The Lemon Tree is a cute place on Ocean Drive. It serves great food at reasonable prices which explains why it is so busy. We’ll recommend it to others stopping at Vero.

Carla Taxes Are Done
We next headed to the hardware store to get some items we needed for some of our projects. We needed some sealant to glue the bottom on our look-see bucket and fasteners for our jerry can boards. We got some 3M 5200 which will work fine on the bucket, as well as, primer and paint for the jerry can boards. They didn’t have the stainless steel u-bolts we needed for the jerry can boards. That means a trip tomorrow to a different hardware store for the u-bolts. We really appreciate the convenient bus service.

The evening was dedicated to getting Carla’s taxes completed. Dwayne is still waiting on one 1099 form. It is not accessible on-line. He will call tomorrow to try to get one emailed to him as a PDF file.
