The Catalina 380 was selected by Cruising World Magazine as a “Boat of the Year” in 1997 due to her innovative interior and outstanding exterior design features. The 380 is one of the largest and best-appointed yachts in her size range. This is a comfortable, sea-worthy vessel.

The Catalina 380 was designed to incorporate the performance, accommodations and features to which experienced sailors are accustomed. The 380 is sensibly equipped with an off-shore capable rig with double spreader mast, in line uppers, intermediates, fore and aft lowers, forestay and backstay. The inboard shroud base allows for narrow sheeting angles and the ability to carry large genoas.

In the cockpit, excellent visibility forward is assured by the low profile mainsheet traveler. For the crew, the standard cockpit table comes with two drop leafs, beverage storage, and foot rest. Steering is traditional pedestal layout with stainless guard and 5" Ritchie compass with stainless binnacle. The wide weather decks are textured non-skid, gently angles surfaces without sharp corners. The over-sized stern boarding ladder leads to hot and cold fresh water shower, and 2 large storage lockers.

Below deck, you will find an environment that functions underway and in the harbor for quiet retreats as well as entertaining your guests. Varnished teak interior bulkheads, cabinets and joinery, speak of the quality that goes into making the 380. Your interior accommodations are very efficient and comfortable. The forward cabin features a large spacious double berth. Here you have room to stand and dress in privacy with a door at the bulkhead which can be closed. A large hanging locker is to starboard and to port a sink with hot and cold water and vanity.

Moving aft to the main salon you have a large U-shaped dinette area to port. The dining table drops down to form a large double berth. To starboard features a straight settee with storage and lockers above. A stuffy cabin won't be a problem for you with 9 opening hatches assuring abundant light and ventilation. The teak navigation desk is mid-ship and comes with a swivel chair and plenty of space for your electronics.

Continuing aft is the large efficient L-shaped galley that has all the conveniences and space to prepare a gourmet meal. A 3 burner stainless gimbaled propane stove with oven, polished stainless double sink with hot and cold pressurized water & refrigerator with convenient front and top access door. Meal prep and clean-up are easy with custom molded one piece counter tops and integraded counter-top cutting board/trash chute. This 380 has custom cabinets above the counter-top.

Aft is the large head w/ sink, vanity and the luxury of an enclosed separate shower area. A private entrance from the owner’s cabin leads to the modern head.

The owner's cabin aft is highlighted by the over-sized center-line double berth, complete with numerous storage bins and lockers with arm's reach. Two separate dressing areas and hanging lockers allow plenty of room to move in this private retreat.
