Forest - Susan and the Bahamas

We got up late and had a leisurely breakfast. Our boat task for the day was installing the second jerry can boards. It was an easier job than yesterday, because we learned some from mounting the starboard side board.  Also, we had all the parts we needed which saved us a lot of time since we didn’t have to make another trip to the hardware store. We stayed on the boat all day.

Forest and Susan - Rejoice

Forest and Susan came over for sundowners and stayed for dinner. They are also members of the Seven Seas Cruisers' Association (SSCA). We examined the charts and discussed places to visit, navigation, anchorages, provisioning and other matters. Forest and Susan have made many trips to the Bahamas on their Island Packet, Rejoice. They provided much useful information.

Dwayne prepared shrimp scampi while Carla tossed together a salad. Dessert was cookies and coffee. It was an easy meal to prepare and well received by our guests. No leftovers for tomorrow.

It was another calm, cool night. Great for sleeping.
