Haven Harbor Marina Rock Hall Day 3 and on to Columbia, MD

Bill, the Haven Harbor Service Manager, came by at 0830 to advise us that Bob, the surveyor, was running late and wouldn’t arrive until 1030 or so.  Bill took a few minutes to examine the noise coming from the pedestal when Foreign Affair’s steering wheel was turned to the left.  It was discovered the steering cable needed to be tightened.  Bill began the process and showed Dwayne how to complete the work.  Carla did more laundry.

Frank and Carol at Pasta Plus - Rock Hall

Frank and Carol called shortly before noon.  They were driving to Delaware and decided to take a detour so they could stop by and visit.  We last saw them in Nassau.  They left the Bahamas before us so Frank could be seen by his primary care physician and a neurologist to examine his back and decide how best to treat his condition.  We were not able to get together in Hampton, VA as we were passing through on our way north.

Their dropping by was a pleasant surprise.  We sat on the patio near our slip bringing ourselves up to date on our travels since we were last together.  We headed to Pasta Plus for lunch.  Dwayne’s brother, Brian joined us there.  Frank and Carol continued on their way after lunch.  The rest of us returned to Foreign Affair so Carla could finish packing for her trip to her daughter’s house.  She will fly out of Baltimore tomorrow.  The steering wheel cable adjustment had to wait for another day as we wanted to get to Brian’s house before the rush hour traffic started.  We went to Chopstixx for dinner along with Janet, Vickie, Mike, Paige, Abbie and Tony who met us there.  Then it was home for the evening.
