Rigging Survey

No, it is not Dwayne.  It is a pro who has literally been climbing masts for decades.

We had the rigging surveyed today by Mike Previti.  He did an outstanding job.  No major problems were noted.

During the survey, Mike also checked all the mast mounted lights and added new cable ties to hold the bird spikes in place on the spreaders.  He even helped us get the genoa up and furled.

As soon as the survey ended, we headed to Annapolis to spend some more boat bucks.  First stop was Bacons.  Bought some Harken 40mm Carbo Airblocks to improve the main sail furling system. Picked up some more FSR so Carla can continue her mission to get the boat clean and shiny.

Next it was to Marine Plastics to get backer-boards for our boat numbers and material to repair a seat support we broke during our fishing expedition yesterday.

It took two Home Depot stores to get the final fittings for our current plumbing project.

All the shopping made us very hungry.  Fortunately, Mission BBQ was only a few blocks from Home Depot.  This place is as good as Oklahoma Joe's.

Dwayne wished he had truck equipped just like this when he was in the Army.
