Defrosting the Refrigerator Coils

We discovered the copper tubing feeding our refrigerator coils had frosted over creating a block of ice attached to the bottom of the compressor in the starboard rear lazarette.  So, Carla had to climb into our "basement" to inspect.  We shut down the refrigerator for a day to let the ice melt and allow us to determine what size pipe insulation to buy in hopes of solving the icing problem.  The good new is that the refrigerator really works well.

Spent Monday night with Dwayne's brother's family in Columbia.  Shopped on the way back to Herrington:  Walmart for basic supplies and West Marine for boat parts.

Carla finished adjusting the lifelines and installing cotter rings.  Dwayne attempted to replace the Nicro vent in the shower; however, it appears to have been very well bedded at the factory and did not easily come off.  So, we'll try again tomorrow.

Janet re-stiched the trim around the screening on the companionway screen last night.  We installed new snaps on the screen and it is looking much better and keeps the bugs out.
