Brian, Janet and Carol Come for R&R

Brian, Janet and Janet's mother came down for a little rest and relaxation.  Brian made some delicious pork ribs and Janet heated up the baked beans and German potato salad.  We had some of the wonderful caramel, walnut apple pie from Chick and Ruth's for desert.

Herrington Harbour South  Pool

After lunch, the women headed to the beach while the men lounged around the swimming pool.  It was sunny and warm but not hot most of the day.  Clouds began to appear in the late afternoon and then came the rain.  We retreated to the cockpit of Foreign Affair and wiled away the time watching a wedding party getting photographed on the lawn behind our slip. Of course, the women were more intent on following the action than the guys. The big moment came when the groom was allowed to see the bride in her wedding gown for the first time.  A kiss got a big applause from the boaters watching, as well as, the wedding party.

The rain stopped as soon as the wedding party entered the nearby suite for festivities which went on late into the evening.  Brian, Janet and Carol left shortly thereafter.  Dwayne spent the rest of the evening planning the trip north and watching Netflix.  The rain drove most of the weekenders home and opened up the wifi.
